A serving of banana contains 17 grams of carbohydrates and 1 cup of milk contains 12 grams of carbohydrates and 118 milligrams of sodium.

Ingredients

  2 ripe bananas, peeled, coarsely chopped

375ml (1 1/2 cups) skim milk

70g (1/4 cup) low-fat natural yogurt

1 tablespoon honey

6 ice cubes

Honey, extra, to serve
 

STEPS

  •   Place the banana, milk, yogurt, honey, and ice in the jug of a blender, and blend until well 
  •   Pour among glasses. Drizzle with extra honey to serve.
